These are the pertinent guidelines taken from Nevada Health Response, CDC and OSHA:
· In Phase 2, employees will continue to be required to wear a face covering.
· All businesses who are operating in Phase 2 must also abide by measures set forth by OSHA and other regulatory authorities.
· All Phase1 restrictions on restaurants and food establishments are continued in Phase2.
· Bar areas in restaurants may reopen, under the same Phase1 restrictions –50% maximum capacity and strict social distancing.
· Patrons will NOT be allowed to walk up and order at the bars, but they may sit and be served at a bar top if appropriately distanced from one another,
–6 feet apart. No congregating!
· Social settings where social distancing may not be practical, should be avoided!
Nothing has changed! We are not opening dine in under these restrictions! We are not removing arcade games, telling people they cannot sit together at the bar, putting up isolation guards and most importantly, we are not turning away “ANY” of our valued customers in an effort to enforce these restrictions!!
In our opinion the repercussions of a negative experience, outweigh any potential increase in business revenue under these conditions.
We continue looking forward to the time we can offer the experience you expect from your Village Grill.
Until then, please continue to phone in for pickup.
Village Grill Patrons! We know you are all chomping at the bit. We know you want to socialize and get out there and live. And we do too!
But, with Phase #1 Restrictions.....Picture this if you will: no groups larger than four, no the kids can’t play in the arcade, your kids must stay seated, please only one in the restroom at a time, sorry the patio is closed (it’s the bar area), the pool table is closed (it’s the bar area), you can’t sit at the bar, we’re sorry but your table is not ready, we’re sorry your order took so long, we’re sorry but you have to go now, the next party is here for this table, Yes we sanitized the table, yes we sanitized the menu, we’re sorry but we’re at capacity (we only have 8 tables now), It’s all a hoax, no it’s not, please stay 6 feet away, I’m sorry but if you can’t follow the rules you’ll have to leave. Add alcohol and any of these scenarios will get ugly really quick!!
Does any of this sound like the experience you want from your Village Grill? It is not the experience we wish to give you!
So, it is with much consideration that we have decided to sit out Phase #1.
We sincerely appreciate your business and look forward to the real “Reopening”!
So, until then, we will still continue with takeout service. Please phone ahead.
